Communications Officer

Raising awareness online and offline, organising events and leading community fundraising

30hrs/wk £19k-£23k pro-rata

 The Postholder will be required to:

  • Lead the external marketing of Trust Links, to support its development and growth
  • Promote the work of Trust Links and associated projects to a range of audiences including the general public, potential service users and carers, health and social care professionals using a range of channels
  • Plan, organise and deliver community and fundraising events as requested
  • Recruit and support volunteers for events
  • Recruit and support community fundraisers to raise money for Trust Links 

 The right candidate will need:

  • Experience of marketing
  • Experience of events management
  • Good knowledge of community fundraising
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be a self-starter and able to take the initiative


 Administration Support Officer

Providing reception and clerical support

37.5hrs/wk £16k-£18k

The Postholder will be required to:

  • Support effective and efficient administration of the charity
  • Respond to all enquiries
  • Co-ordinate bookings and diaries for projects across the organisation

The right candidate will need:

  • Experience of working in an administrative role
  • Competence in IT, literate and numerate
  • Welcoming and friendly manner


Garden Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover)

Co-ordinating and delivering Growing Together Thundersley project for vulnerable groups

22.5hrs/wk £20k-£23k pro-rata

The Postholder will be required to: 

  • Plan, develop and implement the Community Garden and associate infrastructure and building works
  • Co-ordinate and advise on the day to day operation of gardening projects and activities
  • Design, develop and deliver appropriate activities to meet the diverse needs of service users
  • Contribute to the learning and development of service users by planning and delivering educational activities
  • Provide supervision and support to garden volunteers

The right candidate will need:

  • Past experience of working in a supportive environment
  • Experience of planning and implementing a practical project
