The following positions are advertised on behalf of Trust Links.

This is a great time to join Trust Links. We now have three Growing Together therapeutic community gardens in Westcliff, Shoeburyness and Thundersley and a new multiagency eco-building in Rochford. We have just been commissioned as a key partner in the new Southend’s Carers Hub and are hosting and managing the new REACH Recovery College for south east Essex.

Mental health wellbeing and recovery is at the heart of our inclusive approach and we are recruiting positive people for key roles to help our charity grow.

Communications Officer, 22-30 hours per week, £19-£23k pro rata

The Postholder will be required to:

  • Lead the external marketing of Trust Links, to support its development and growth
  • Promote the work of Trust Links and associated projects (e.g. Recovery College) to a range of audiences including the general public, potential service users and carers, health and social care professionals using a range of channels
  • Plan, organise and deliver community and fundraising events as requested
  • Recruit and support volunteers for events
  • Recruit and support community fundraisers to raise money for Trust Links  


Project Development Manager, 37.5 hours per week, £22-£25k

The Postholder will be required to: 

  • Develop and implement new projects and initiatives for Trust Links
  • Collate information on all funded projects and prepare reports to funders
  • Represent Trust Links at external meetings as required
  • Broker and negotiate opportunities for Trust Links
  • Identify and develop enterprise opportunities for Trust Links
  • Lead the development and delivery of allocated projects
  • Support the management and effective utilization of the Trust Links buildings and facilities
